  44.        If you are installing this product for the first time, the
  45.        subsystems marked ``default'' are the ones that are
  46.        installed if you use the ``go'' menu item.  To install a
  47.        different set of subsystems, use the ``install,''
  48.        ``remove,'' ``keep,'' and ``step'' commands in _i_n_s_t to
  49.        customize the list of subsystems to be installed, then
  50.        select the ``go'' menu item.

  86.        All of the subsystems for CXFS Cluster Manager GUI can be
  87.        installed using IRIX.  You do not need to use the miniroot.

  92.        2.4  _P_r_e_r_e_q_u_i_s_i_t_e_s

  94.        If you want to install sysadm_cxfs.sw.client, you must also
  95.        install sysadm_base.sw.client.
  96.  
  97.        If you want to install sysadm_cxfs.sw.desktop, you must also
  98.        install sysadm_base.sw.client and release 3.2 of
  99.        java_eoe.sw.base (Sun JRE 1.1.8).

  101.        If you want to install sysadm_cxfs.sw.server, you must also
  102.        install cluster_admin.sw.base, cluster_control.sw.cli,
  103.        cluster_services.sw.cli, and sysadm_base.sw.server.

  105.        If you want to install sysadm_cxfs.sw.web, you must also
  106.        install sysadm_cxfs.sw.client and sysadm_cxfs.sw.server.

  108.        2.5  _C_o_m_p_a_t_i_b_i_l_i_t_y
  109.  
  110.        A client with this version of the CXFS Manager software
  111.        cannot connect to a server running a different version of
  112.        the CXFS Manager software.  Please upgrade the servers and
  113.        clients at the same time.

  115.        2.6  _O_t_h_e_r__I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n__I_n_f_o_r_m_a_t_i_o_n

  117.        If you launch the GUI client from a Web browser, you may be
  118.        required to install the Java Plug-in.  If the Java Plug-in
  119.        is not installed when the CXFS Cluster Manager GUI is run
  120.        from a browser, the browser will be redirected to the
  121.        appropriate web page to download the Plug-in.
